The Padstow to Rock Swim is set to return on Friday, 8th August 2025, offering swimmers a unique opportunity to cross the Camel Estuary while raising funds for Marie Curie Nurses. The ballot to secure a spot in this open-water challenge is now live, and those interested can enter by downloading the ballot entry form from Marie Curie’s website.

The ballot will close on 30th November 2024, so applicants are encouraged to act quickly to secure their chance at a place.

A Unique Challenge for a Worthy Cause

Participants will undertake a one-mile swim across the estuary, with Marie Curie’s South West team providing robust support throughout the journey. “Swim for Marie Curie and you can expect fantastic support along the way,” shared the team, emphasising their dedication to helping swimmers prepare. Each entrant will receive a welcome pack containing fundraising tips, regular updates, and access to a Swimmer’s Zone with training advice.

On the day of the swim, each participant will receive a swimming hat and, upon completion, a Cornish pasty and the iconic Padstow to Rock finishers’ T-shirt. All funds raised will support Marie Curie Nurses in their mission to provide end-of-life care to those living with a terminal illness.
