Cornwall Bakery Team Embarks on Epic Charity Challenge for Mental Health

This Saturday, 11 May, a spirited quartet from The Cornwall Bakery, an establishment under the Samworth Brothers Group umbrella, is set to tackle the gruelling Samworth Brothers Charity Challenge 2024.

The team, consisting of Mark, Matt, Tom, and Chris, is not only aiming for victory but also to support a noble cause— Cornwall Mind, a charity dedicated to mental health.

Decade of Dedication

For nearly a decade, these four colleagues have participated in this bi-annual event, commendably raising over £8,000 for various charities, both local and nationwide. Their unwavering commitment to philanthropy shines through as they prepare to face another test of endurance and teamwork.

The Challenge Ahead

The challenge they face is no small feat. Spanning 9 hours, the event will see them navigate through a triathlon of mountain biking, kayaking, and hiking. The course is dotted with multiple checkpoints, where they’ll need to score points to boost their standings, adding a strategic element to the physically demanding race.
