Fundraising Success at the Mennaye Field

During the Cornish Pirates versus Royal Navy match at the Mennaye Field, the Cornwall group of ‘A Band of Brothers’ collected donations and spoke to supporters about their work.

Thurstan Crockett, the charity’s Regional Lead SW, expressed his gratitude:

“We had a great evening, with lots of good conversations with potential mentors, real interest from many people in the work we do mentoring young men, and more than £400 raised.

“A huge thank you to everyone we spoke to or who gave us a donation – we really appreciate your support; and we hope to be back soon!”

Thurstan also praised the club and its supporters, adding:

“What a great club, set of supporters, and atmosphere you have!”
