Motorbike Shop in Camborne Celebrates Its First Anniversary

Bikers from across the county are heading to Triple R for gear they can actually afford

A Camborne shop specialising in both new and second-hand motorbike accessories is celebrating its first anniversary.

A year of growth for Triple R

Triple R Motorbike Accessories, based at Unit 2 of Camborne Business Centre, was set up by Olly Rutter in May 2024. A year on, Olly says he’s delighted with how the business is growing.

Offering a wide range of new and preloved motorbike clothing, the shop has become a destination for bikers from all parts of Cornwall.

“It’s the perfect location because it’s so central,” said Olly, who lives in Newquay. “It only takes a couple of minutes to get to the A30 and there’s nowhere else for bikers to get kitted out without spending a fortune.”

Second-hand with safety in mind

Olly doesn’t sell second-hand helmets for riding, due to safety concerns, but has found a creative use for them instead – turning them into hanging baskets and lighting features.

A hidden gem in Camborne

Anna Pascoe, BID Camborne Manager, praised the business: “The shop is a unique hidden gem. Biking accessories aren’t cheap if you buy them new, so Olly’s idea of stocking preloved goods as well is putting him on the map.

“For bikers and non-bikers alike, there’s also the opportunity to buy some unusual gifts.”

Looking ahead

Olly has plans to install a new shop frontage and add a mobile coffee outlet to help draw in passing trade.

Triple R Motorbike Accessories is open from 5pm to 8pm on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, and from 10am to 4.30pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
