A night to remember at Tregenna Castle

Year 11 students from Camborne Science & International Academy (CSIA) marked the end of their school journey with a dazzling prom night this month, held at the breathtaking Tregenna Castle in St Ives.

The celebration brought together students, teachers and friends for an evening filled with laughter, fine dining, dancing and heartfelt farewells. Part of the Athena Learning Trust, the academy pulled out all the stops to give the Class of 2025 a send-off they’ll never forget.

Stylish entrances and unforgettable moments

Setting the tone for the evening, students arrived in everything from gleaming sports cars to tractors decorated specially for the occasion. Dressed in their best, they gathered to capture joyful moments in the elegant surroundings before heading in for a night of celebration.

From awards to dancing, the prom was a reflection of the students’ hard work, the friendships they’ve formed and the memories made throughout their time at CSIA.

A highlight of the CSIA calendar

The annual prom remains a key moment in the CSIA calendar, symbolising both an ending and a new beginning for the students of Camborne. For many, the night also marked the start of their next steps, with a number expected to return to the school’s VI Form Academy.

Emma Haase, Principal of Camborne Science and International Academy, said:
“This evening was about more than just a celebration, it was a heartfelt recognition of the dedication and resilience our Year 11 students have shown. We are incredibly proud of all they have achieved, and tonight was a wonderful way to mark the end of this chapter and look forward to their exciting futures. We can’t wait to welcome many of them back to continue their studies in our VI Form Academy.”
