Camborne Residents Invited to Help Name New Park Gerry Pavilion and Kerrier Way Community Green
Camborne Town Council is calling on residents to cast their votes in the final stage of selecting names for two upcoming community spaces as part of the town’s regeneration efforts. The council has narrowed down the choices for the new pavilion at Park Gerry and the community green next to Tesco on Kerrier Way. The public poll, which closes at 1 pm on Monday, 4th November, allows residents to select their favourite options from carefully shortlisted names.
Naming Options for Park Gerry Pavilion
The newly constructed pavilion at Park Gerry is set to bring fresh facilities to the community. Camborne residents can now decide on its official name, with three options on the table:
- Gerry Fields Pavilion – Pabel Gwel Gerry
- Park Gerry Pavilion – Pabel Park Gerry
- Wheal Gerry Pavilion – Pabel Hwel Gerry
To cast a vote on the pavilion’s name, residents can visit the official poll for Park Gerry Pavilion.
Choices for Kerrier Way Community Green
The green space alongside Tesco on Kerrier Way also awaits its new title. The community can choose from three potential names that honour Camborne’s industrial heritage:
- Holman’s Green – Glesin Holman
- Holman Gardens – Lowarth Holman
- Holman’s Foundry – Teudhla Holman
Votes can be placed via the Kerrier Way community green poll.
