Cornwall Mining Consultants Hits £1 Million Turnover

Cornwall Mining Consultants has reached a major milestone, announcing a £1 million turnover following what they describe as their busiest winter since the pandemic.

Known for their expertise in mundic block testing, mining searches and ground stability, the south west-based company says the record turnover reflects a surge in demand across all their services. The growth has led to four new staff joining the team, along with four internal promotions.

Faster reports, smarter data

One of the key reasons behind the growth is the company’s investment in upgrading their brand, website and customer reports. In 2024, Cornwall Mining Consultants introduced a traffic light system in their reports, designed to make results clearer and easier to understand.

Their expert desktop regulated mining search reports are now turned around within three working days, while mundic reports are delivered within 48 hours of testing. They also make use of their unique in-house SecureShaft™ dataset, which helps to clear properties without the need for costly or intrusive ground investigations.

Demand rising for removal verification

The company has also seen growing interest in its new Mundic Removal Verification Service, and confirmed that it has fixed more mine workings in the past year than ever before.
