Fatal Collision Near Bugle: Police Appeal for Witnesses
A 19-year-old man has died following a collision on the B3374 near Rosevear, Bugle on Wednesday evening.
Emergency Services Called to Serious Collision
Police were called to the scene at 6.35pm on Wednesday 14th May after a collision involving a car and a motorbike. The rider of the motorbike, a 19-year-old man from Bugle, was confirmed deceased at the scene.
His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
Forensic Investigation Carried Out
A forensic examination of the scene was carried out during the evening. Devon & Cornwall Police have thanked the public for their assistance and patience while this took place.
Police Appeal for Information
Officers are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with dash cam footage who they are not already aware of to contact them. Anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting log 703 of 14/05/25.
Referral to Independent Office for Police Conduct
Devon & Cornwall Police have made a mandatory referral to the Independent Office for Police Conduct due to prior police contact with the motorcyclist.
