A Cornwall-based author is set to make her literary debut with a gripping novel that promises mystery, rebellion, and a battle for identity. Mad Girl’s Love Song, by Romany Heartford, follows 16-year-old Heli as she navigates life inside a remote island facility for so-called “aberrant” teenagers. The novel will be published on 18th February, with pre-orders now available.
From Oxford to Cornwall’s Coastline
Originally from Oxford, Romany now calls Cornwall home, where she enjoys walking and swimming along its beaches. A teacher of English Literature and creative writing, she has long dreamt of seeing her name in print—and with her debut novel, that dream is about to become a reality.
