You Won’t Believe How Much Rubbish Bodmin Tidy It Team Cleared in One Clean-Up!
14 Bags of Rubbish and a Huge Pile Removed
The Bodmin Tidy It Team has made a significant impact on the Hillside and Jail area, collecting 14 bags of rubbish, 9 bags of recycling, and an enormous pile of waste in their latest clean-up effort.
Community members rallied together to improve the area, with Trish bringing three bags of recycling and one bag of rubbish, and Sarah collecting four bags along St Nicholas Street. This brings their running total to 143 bags removed so far.
Volunteers Making a Difference
A group of dedicated volunteers – Roger, Gary, Sue, Max, Paul, Trish, Steve, Tom, Jeremy, Andy, and Ros – worked together to clear the waste, with support from Biffa, who collected the rubbish, and Clean Cornwall.
Get Involved in the Next Clean-Up
The team is already planning their next clean-up, set for Wednesday 5th February at 10am along Foxglove Road, near Chy Trevail.
They’re inviting anyone who can spare an hour to join them, showing how much can be achieved in a short time with a group effort. Visit their Facebook page for more information.
