Gold Traders UK Opens New Branch in Bodmin
A national precious metals buyer has opened a new branch in Bodmin, bringing face-to-face valuations and buying services to Cornwall.
Gold Traders Bodmin, part of Gold Traders UK Ltd, is now open at 3 Fore Street, inside the former HSBC building. The branch welcomes customers from Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 4.30pm, offering a secure counter service for those looking to sell unwanted gold, silver, jewellery, coins and more.
“We are proud to bring our trusted precious metal buying service to Cornwall,” said Jon White, founder of Gold Traders.
“Gold Traders Bodmin reflects our ongoing commitment to providing accessible, face-to-face consultations for those looking to sell their unwanted jewellery, silverware, coins and more for a fair and ethical price.”
From Wiltshire to Cornwall
Established in Wiltshire in 2008, Gold Traders UK Ltd has become known for offering competitive rates and a transparent service. The company, based in Royal Wootton Bassett, was the first precious metals dealer in the UK to receive Trading Standards accreditation through the national Buy With Confidence scheme.
The Bodmin branch is run by husband-and-wife team Steve and Karen Watts, who moved to the area a year ago and have led the restoration of the building in the centre of town.
“Whether you’re clearing out an old jewellery box or looking to cash in on gold coins, we’re here to offer honest advice and fair value,” said Steve.
Official Opening and Services Available
The shop was officially opened on Monday, 2nd June by Councillor Mike Barbery, Deputy Mayor of Bodmin, and Councillor Andy Coppin. A ‘Meet the Team’ event invited residents to pop in for a chat over tea and cake and learn more about the service.
In addition to buying precious metals, customers can also choose to consign items for auction through RWB Auctions, a Wiltshire-based saleroom also founded by Jon White. Valuations for antiques and collectables are available by appointment.
Sellers with larger collections are advised to call ahead. For more information, visit www.gold-traders.co.uk or phone 01208 420331.
