Bodmin Tidy It Team Takes Litter Picking to the Extreme – Trish Hoisted Over Fence!
Huge Haul of Rubbish and Recycling Collected
The Bodmin Tidy It Team took litter picking to the next level on their latest clean-up, collecting 12 bags of recycling, eight bags of rubbish, and a pile of junk. The team, made up of dedicated volunteers, tackled the town’s litter problem with enthusiasm—so much so that Trish was hoisted over a fence to reach more rubbish.
Sarah also played her part, collecting three bags along St Nicholas Street, adding to the group’s growing total of 227 bags collected so far.
Support From Local Volunteers and Organisations
This week’s clean-up saw Gary, Nigel, Jeremy, Trish, Andy, Steve, Tom, Debs, Andy, Richard, Linda, and Max join forces to tidy up Bodmin. Their efforts were backed by Biffa and Clean Cornwall, who continue to support the group’s mission to keep the town litter-free.
Next Litter Pick: Burgage Plots on 26th February
The team isn’t slowing down. Their next focus will be the Burgage Plots, with volunteers meeting at the car park behind the cinema at 10 a.m. (9.45 a.m.) on Wednesday, 26th February.
With dedication like this, Bodmin is in safe hands!
