Bodmin Tidy It Team Back in Action – What They Collected This Time
The Bodmin Tidy It Team was back at it early on 5th March, setting off from Lidl to clear litter near Screwfix and the surrounding area. Their efforts resulted in 11 bags of recycling, 11 bags of rubbish, and a pile of junk, bringing their total collection to 277 bags.
Frustration Over Abandoned Traffic Cones
Among the waste, the team highlighted an ongoing issue – abandoned traffic cones. “When a job is finished, they should not be left behind,” they stated.
Volunteers Making a Difference
The clean-up was made possible by volunteers Max, Nigel, Tom, Andy, Debs, Paul, Sue, Andy, and Gary, with support from Clean Cornwall and Biffa.
Next Clean-Up – How Many Bottles Will They Find?
The team’s next meeting is planned for Wednesday, 12th March at 10 a.m. along the lower road of the Hillside Estate. With bottles being a frequent find, they’re eager to see how many they collect this time.
The Bodmin Tidy It Team continues to make an impact, clearing Bodmin’s streets one bag at a time.
