A busy afternoon unfolded in Bodmin yesterday as police responded to a serious incident involving an assault and robbery on St Mary’s Road.

Police Helicopter and Dogs Deployed

At 3.35pm on 25th January, police were called to reports of an assault and robbery at a property on St Mary’s Road. The incident prompted a significant response from law enforcement, including uniformed officers, a police helicopter, and a police dog unit, leading to a noticeable police presence in the town.

Victim Sustains Hand Injuries

A man in his 30s sustained injuries to his hand during the incident. He was taken to hospital, but police have confirmed that his injuries are not life-threatening or life-changing.

Teen Arrested on Robbery and Drugs Charges

A 17-year-old boy from Bodmin has been arrested on suspicion of robbery and possession of Class A drugs. He remains in police custody as the investigation continues.
