A30 Eastbound Closures Between Chiverton and Carland Cross from 15th July

Closures Begin Monday 14th July

Drivers are being warned to expect disruption on the A30 as 10 nights of weeknight closures are set to begin from Monday 14th July. The overnight closures are to allow for finishing and remedial works on the road.

The affected section is the eastbound A30 between Chiverton Interchange and Carland Cross, with closures running from 8pm to 6am, Monday to Friday, until Saturday 26th July at 6am.

No Weekend Closures on 19th and 20th

There will be no closures during the weekend of Friday 18th and Saturday 19th July, allowing traffic to flow as normal for those dates.

What’s Closed

  • A30 eastbound between Chiverton Interchange and Carland Cross

  • Chiverton Interchange eastbound onslip, which will remain closed for the full two weeks

What’s Staying Open

Despite the closures, several local routes will remain open throughout:

  • B3284 via Chybucca

  • A390, A3075 and B3277 through Chiverton Interchange roundabout

Diversions and Travel Advice

A diversion route will be in place, and drivers are being advised to plan ahead and allow extra time for their journeys while the overnight works are underway.
