Breast Fest to Raise Funds for Cancer Research in Newquay on August 2nd

Live music, kids’ workout, raffle prizes and more as Breast Fest takes over KillaCourt

Newquay is set for a huge day on Saturday 2nd August 2025, with a brand new community event arriving at the heart of the town.

Breast Fest 2025 will take over KillaCourt from 12pm to 6pm, transforming the space with music, dancing, drinks, and a charity auction and raffle packed with prizes donated by generous local businesses. Entry is completely free, and updates are being shared via @breastfestnqy on Instagram.

More than just a festival, Breast Fest is a fundraiser supporting the Cornwall Cancer Research Charity Fund, raising money for local cancer research that’s making a real difference here and now.

Why Breast Fest Matters

The event has been created by two local women, Jemma and Danae, as a way to give back. Jemma was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2020 and is currently undergoing a clinical trial after a recurrence. The festival is their way of showing gratitude to the research unit helping her through treatment.

“We wanted to do something bold, brilliant, and positive — something that brings people together while making a real difference,” said Jemma. “The research unit I’m part of is doing incredible work, and Breast Fest is our way of showing gratitude and raising the money they need to keep going.”

Every penny raised from the day will go directly to the Cornwall Cancer Research Charity Fund.

A Big Day in Newquay

Breast Fest is just one of several events taking place in Newquay on 2nd August, with Newquay Lifeboat Day and the BIG Newquay Market also happening. It’s shaping up to be the perfect day to head into town, enjoy the vibrant atmosphere, and show support for a truly meaningful cause.
