Heligan teams up with Verdant Brewing Co to launch exclusive festival pint

The Lost Gardens of Heligan has joined forces with Cornish favourites Verdant Brewing Co to create a special beer for the Heligan Homecoming Festival, which opens today (Friday 13th June) with a sold-out headline show by celebrated singer-songwriter Seth Lakeman.

The collaboration sees the release of a limited-edition Extra Pale Ale (4.5%), described as sessionable, quenching and moorish, and packed with bright, citrusy hop flavours. It’s available in four different 440ml cans featuring eye-catching Homecoming branding and will also be on tap at the Heligan BBQ venue throughout the festival.

Star-studded festival line-up

Running on selected dates between 13th and 22nd June 2025, the Heligan Homecoming Festival takes place in the historical surroundings of the Lost Gardens of Heligan in Cornwall.

This year’s line-up features some of the UK’s most respected entertainers and thinkers, including Gwenno, Dawn French, Edward Rowe (better known locally as Kernow King), Simon Armitage, Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall and Merlin Sheldrake.

With a focus on the themes of home and belonging, the festival blends music, comedy, literature, food and thought-provoking discussion in one of Cornwall’s most picturesque settings.
