Newquay Wellbeing Club Announces Free Latin Dance Classes to Boost Women’s Mental Health
Newquay Wellbeing Club is thrilled to announce new dates for their free Latin dance classes, designed to improve women’s mental health and promote social connections.
Event Details:
What?:
Relaxed, closed 2-hour Latin dance classes in a safe space with security on the door. The sessions include breaks and social time. The classes are led by a female instructor and are staffed by women, with female attendees only.
When?:
– Sunday, 11th August, 1-3 pm
– Saturday, 17th August, 6:30-8:30 pm

Whiskers Bar and Live Music Venue, 5-7 Gover Lane, Newquay, TR7 1ERWhy?:
Funded by The Cornwall Community Foundation, these sessions aim to promote good mental health, social connection, and fun!
Who Can Attend:
Whilst everyone is most welcome, we especially encourage attendance from women who are from low-income backgrounds, marginalised communities, minority groups, the LGBTQ+ community, and those suffering from poor mental health or isolation.
(Please do note that the bar will be open and alcohol will be available to purchase to those over 18. There is also a great non-alcoholic range but there is no pressure whatsoever to purchase anything).
