Armed Robbery in Penzance: Police Release Another Image of Suspect

In a brazen daylight robbery, a man armed with a knife made off with bags of cash from a security van outside Sainsbury’s on Jelbert Way.

The incident, which occurred at 10:18 am yesterday, has prompted a major police investigation.

Details of the Incident

Police reports indicate that the suspect approached the rear of a security van and threatened the guard with a knife before seizing the cash. He then fled the scene on a moped, which has been described as small, black, and equipped with a red and black storage box on the rear.

The suspect is described as being over 6ft tall, dressed in a black North Face coat, black trousers, a black face covering, and a black bike helmet. The police have released multiple images throughout the day and now have a clearer image of the man they are seeking.
