Penzance Community to Benefit from Free Bike Safety Checks

Residents of Penzance are in for a treat as the St Clare Medical Centre teams up with Sustrans to offer a day of free bike safety checks and active travel advice.

This event is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, 27th March, and aims to encourage and support the community in adopting more sustainable forms of transportation.

From 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, cycling enthusiasts and daily commuters alike are invited to bring their bicycles to the front of St Clare Medical Centre for a comprehensive safety inspection known as a “Dr Bike” session. In addition to these free checks, bikes will also be eligible for security marking, adding an extra layer of theft protection for owners.

But the benefits don’t stop at just bike safety. The event will also provide valuable information and advice on walking, cycling, and public transport options available in the area, promoting a healthier, more active lifestyle among residents.
